No, actually, this is just the cover illustration for my one-shot manga Frozen Love.
You see, I want to be a manga artist one day, and I have drawn a lot of illustrations, but I've never actually drawn an actual story. I needed to practice!! I don't have any professional tools (except for Copic markers), so I just drew with regular pencil and paper. I made the story simple and a typical shojo romance, so it wouldn't be too hard for me.

I only put her in a hat because I wanted her to wear a cap sideways like that because of her side ponytail!!! But then she looked too tomboyish, so I added jewelry. ^^ (Notice that the jewelry matches the logo and not her actual clothes...!!)
Her eyes should be a lighter orange than that... -__-U
I love the way this came out... it took a long time to decide on the pose, and I made it up as I went along (something I almost never do)... but it ended up looking good, and I love the crooked smile!!! <333

It's weird because I just bought Short-Tempered Melancholic by Arina Tanemura, and it contained her first stories as well... XD But hers are better... XD

I don't want to reveal the exact number of pages in the story, but I'll just say there are more than 30.

My backrounds are horrible, and my art in general here is sketchy.* So don't expect neat art!! (Hmph. Real manga artists have assistants to help them...!!)
EDIT: It's been several months, and... wow, the art in here is terrible! Mostly. I'm almost done with DreamGuy chapter 1, and I looked back at this... wow. XD So please excuse most of the art! Just read it for the story.

I followed a page-a-day schedule. I did this mostly during the month of July! THAT'S right, folks. While I was slaving away on the SN Project, I was also working on this!!! Maybe S♥N stuff would have been done faster if it weren't for this manga. Stupid manga got in the way of my precious S♥N bishies. (Sorry, you two!!! )

So I had bought a cheap pronged folder at Wal-Mart that cost less than a dollar, and I hole-punched these pages and put them in it!! Now there's a print version I can hold, and show my friends!! Yay!!! ^^

This cover was done after I did all those pages! Between those and S♥N, I didn't have the time...

I e-mailed my friends for help coming up with the title of this manga... but in the end, I made up the title. There are two reasons. They will be explained later!!

Oh gosh... It took so long to not only make this, but scan and edit every page, and write the scripts and comments. It took FOREVER!!!!



I have prepared scripts in case you can't read my handwriting!!
You know those words that appear near people or speech bubbles in a manga but they are tiny and not enclosed? I called them Little Words!! (I know, very creative name.) I love Little Words, BTW. <3
I used "Label" for words that have an arrow that point to something, though.

I'm gonna do something very Arina Tanemura-like and announce this manga's theme song. (I forgot to before!) One of the cutest songs ever made, the ending of the 2-episode OVA HoneyxHoney drops!! [link]
(I don't even like HxH drops! I only like the artwork/animation and the opening and ending song.)
